The planning begins!
Once the contract is signed and retainer paid we move into the planning
We know you will have a hundred things happening all at the same time so we won't add to the mix. However we will provide you with a few resources to help with your own planning and then about 3-4 months before your wedding we share our wedding questionnaire that covers most every element you might want included in your special day. Once we have your answers we craft a custom timeline for you and schedule a call to go over it with you. If you have a wedding planner this step might be us working with them allowing you more time to focus on other things.
The big day arrives and we can celebrate together
This is the where the new adventure begins!
Whether you are having a traditional wedding or an elopement we will be right there with you documenting your day and drawing out THE story!

Yes, we provide an engagement session with all our collections and we use this time to help set you at ease while drawing out the real you! We generally combine this with our video story sessions.
A story session is where we take you somewhere generally out in nature but could also be your kitchen to bake some muffins, or a boat, a hike up the mountains, etc and there we capture some video footage of the two of you interacting similar to a photo engagement session, as well as ask you a few relaxed questions about each other to begin discovering the roots of your story. Story sessions are a key part of our final wedding films and we often combine these with our photo engagement session.
The short answer is YES, but the longer answer is we try to create prompts instead of poses. Meaning we will put you in the best light, with your best angles, give some direction and then let the moment unfold. This yields to very genuine moments that also look beautiful! So if you feel awkward in front of a camera don't worry we have you covered!
